Fine enough here to play today, with carts.
Next few days look like being wet.

I’m hopeful for a game tomorrow, weather permitting.

Wed will be wet, Thur fine. But the course will probably be too wet for carts. Wet again on Sat.

In the meantime, I watched all (two seasons) of another series ‘Who Killed Sara’. Mexican, but at least the dubbing was a lot better than BabyB.

I’m into season 2 now. It’s a strange show. Something interesting!

    Berlin Babylon

Season two was ok, although the English dubbing is pretty rough.
Having trouble finding a dubbed season 3 stream. I’m not going to put up with 12 episodes of subtitles.

Is that the prequel to the Kevin Costner one?

    I don’t think so.

I need to find a new series to stream.
Just one episode to go on Boardwalk Empire. A total of 60 hours.
Any suggestions? No, I’m not into zombies.

    Multiplier stab at Warra today.
Started ok but a bit of drizzle came on while playing the 6th and my game failed somewhat from then on.
Two wipes, only one 3-point, lots of rubbish. No 3-putts, 32 putt total. But just 27 points. Partner had 30 so we were never in the mix anyway.

Oldies’ nine hole stab at Warra.
A couple of 3-putts, two wipes, three 1-points. I did have some 1-putts but no 3-points.
    Overall crap, 11 points.

From the lack of discussion in this forum, it looks no-one else is playing golf either.

    Stab at Warra today.
My putts refused to drop, resulting in a few 3-putts and a total of 36 putts.
Whilst I did have a number of failed shots, I somehow managed to accumulate 34 points, much better than many recent efforts.

Stab at Warra today. How’d I play? Rubbish.
A couple of 3-putts, a couple of wipes, only one 3-point, too many 1-points.
    Totals: 27 points, 37 putts.

MM stroke & putting at Beacy (lakes, hills-front) yesterday.
Started with a couple of 3-pointers then the wheels fell off. 3-putted hole 21 then crashed altogether (figuratively) on the par-4 22nd. My drive went to the rhs rough (lhs is a lake). Fairway would have been better but was quite playable. My plan from there was to go near the end of the fairway and chip past the end of the lake onto the green. I hit the ball fat and although it went down onto the fairway, the lake was still in play. Shots 3, 5 and 7 all went into the lake. 9 onto the green and off the back. 10 on and 2 putts for a 12. That was the end of my medal attempt and things didn’t get much better. I hate stroke. Even my stab score for handicapping was an abysmal 23 points. 35 putts
Only a few drops of rain despite promises of thunderstorms.

Not in lockdown, but I’ve been watching Boardwalk Empire during idle time and when there’s nothing entertaining on free-to-air.
Neighbour gave me season one on disks but I prefer to stream them instead of fiddling with disks.
Only problem is that there are five seasons each of 12 one hour episodes.
Part way through season two. This might take awhile.

Is that because carts are lot allowed on the course.?
If so call me the home of golf is allowing carts, but they have to stay to side of fairways

Same at Warra today, but I’m off to Beacy which is probably also the same.

    OldBOgey 16.7 / 17 / 17.5

As at 30/6/21, my GA index was 20.5. I can’t go beyond 21.4 until next year. While I’d like to think my golfing ability is improving, the reality is that my handicap movement proves otherwise.
    So, my new targets are:
    30/6/21: 20.5
    31/12/21: 20
    30/6/22: 20
    i.e. no worse
