Any chance of getting an idea of rough pricing? Thanks Mads!

I’ll look after thur – sun accom as part of the package booking. Anything else will be up to the player. Gets more complicated

Unless there is a new variant of Covid that is even worse than this current strain, I doubt NSW will lock down again post 80% vaccination. Love it or hate it, gotta learn to live with it. A variant on what my wife says about me..

I think Vic and NSW will be fine for this- us Qld pffft not thinking likely ~

I think even Queen Palace Chook will have softened her stance by then.

Do you and Zooey need Thu-Sun accom or over to Monday?

Not sure, but will probably head back on the Sunday same as everyone else. I guess I better get around to asking him if he is a going or not.πŸ˜‚

    ANNOUNCEMENT: This is a 54hole event!@

PM me if you are planning on attending and want to pay deposit to reserve yoru spot. Ive got a package dealm plus those staying on their own plans, ill let you know individual breakdown for each day.

Update made to venues as they couldn’t secure carts for Sunday, as well accommodation options are tricky in that area and pricey from my first searches.

This is an optional event for the year and does not replace the normal Nationals in Oct which is rescheduled for Hunter Valley again. Either way, it would be good to get away for a little hit with everyone. I’ve only booked 24 pax currently – first in best dressed. (The committee makes the final call;)

So many variables to fall into place to have this happen – so we will play it as it lies.

Let me know if anyone wants to play Howlong GC on Thursday afternoon? – it’s then an hour to Cobram Barooga.

Let me know what days you may be able to make it –
(Payment deadline will be by early Jan – first in best dressed- fully refundable as well)

not sure on that, Qld will need to get through what you all are going through with living with covid in the community first.

It will be a slow reopening.

So two weeks in protests on the way?

Police presence busy checking number plates on Thursday, then just as soon as they arrived they disappeared.
probably back to CBD to stop the builders.
all trades now have 2 weeks off.

weather on weekend and next week will be better so holiday makers, already today those with holiday houses sneak down and a few more caravans arrived in the park probably while police are distracted on west gate bridge.

We still have a few players that will need carts regardless.

I agree on making it 54 hole event if we get enough playing al three days We can’t get Saturday at Yarrawonga and Sunday currently we may not get carts What’s better Cobram or tocumwal for Sunday? Also accomodation is a little tricky at moment as it’s a peak season for them usually in March.

    suggestions
    1) Why not make the event a 54 hole tournament = Friday /Sat /Sunday
    2) if playing 36 hole event play same venue ie lake course and murray course sat / sunday
stay on site, dinner at same venue simple
same if play tocumwal presidents course and captains course, stay on course dinner at same venue

    • This reply was modified 4 years, 9 months ago by Can break 80.

Yarrawonga is an easy walking course, so some of field might prefer the walk, by the time this event comes around we MIGHT just be out of our cages and all or most of us will only have walked 1hour per day and not more than 5km.

    Madam
    Keymaster

Cool. Sorry my typo. Have both Yarrawonga courses reserved though Sunday we may not have carts. Am looking at options for that.

Probably be there for all days but only play the middle 3, no chance of playing the lake course?
