ANNOUNCEMENT:
Update: more names below- also reviewing Sunday golf venue so we can secure carts.
As an optional event for the year – Im not sure if it will replace the normal Nationals in Oct if we don’t get our normal field. Either way, it would be good to get away for a little hit with everyone. I’ve only booked 24 pax at moment – first in best dressed. The committee makes the final call;)

7 March Monday – May play morning a round somewhereThe following weekend is the long weekend, Kooringal usually go to Cobram Tocumwal for that weekend. I am keen for Friday- Sunday. If Friday is an afternoon hit off I would drive up Friday morning drive back Sunday afternoon/ night.
Friday is a 10am tee off at moment
Full sched, but no golf on the end days, 3 in the middle is enough.
Most country courses allow byo cart (please confirm), but if I use theirs, how much?Thanks Ill load up rate schedule once all locked in on the Sunday course. They cant guarantee carts for any of us so may need to move venue for Sunday.
Ill also check their policy on bringing your own cart etc they may be in the country but not your normal facility as they are resorts.
The same will go with any reciprocal offers which I need to confirm.

I agree on making it 54 hole event if we get enough playing al three days We can’t get Saturday at Yarrawonga and Sunday currently we may not get carts What’s better Cobram or tocumwal for Sunday? Also accomodation is a little tricky at moment as it’s a peak season for them usually in March.

1) Why not make the event a 54 hole tournament = Friday /Sat /Sunday
2) if playing 36 hole event play same venue ie lake course and murray course sat / sunday
stay on site, dinner at same venue simple

Fine by me👍 but I doubt it will suit everyone. Isn’t that why we went with the October date in the 1st place.
