This was probably my drive of the day. It’s a tight opening to take driver up the left hand side. Right is the best angle in, especially with the pin tucked back left.
I was 130 out and went pin seeking with 9 iron that just rolled off onto the back fringe for an easy two putt. I say easy two putt, there are no easy two putts at The Flats.

ooh ooh, compare that to my plan. I was all over it like seagull on a chip

You must have hit so many sprinkler heads to hit your drives that far each time!

It’s still happening. April 21-22 is the likely timeframe.

Im more a 70/30 to attend now would need to start planning a few things in the next month to make it all work out.

Any interest in tacking this on an additional day?

Its a client of mine and can get a good rate for a group staying there. An hour or so south of Launceston though

At risk of bringing the average age of this discussion down a notch, it’s an interesting question BM posed and Commish has eloquently captured in his response.

As a 48yo with ongoing lower back issues I have had to readjust my expectations and approach to both improvement and playing. Previous thoughts were filtered with feel isn’t real, what I think I’m doing isn’t even close to what I think, and lessons are best.

Using that same approach and knowledge from 3 years of lessons and practice etc. I have recalibrated my goals and playing approach. In short I have realised I have a functional playable swing and need to fine-tune my short game to score better.

I don’t need to think in terms of positions or concepts, I need to keep my current swing repeatable and work on short game skills.

So, for me, the TGM type discussion or overly detailed analysis of the golf swing had never really worked and I now doubt will ever need to be. But, I 100% support and encourage others who do like that approach.

    So, where are they all?

Over in the previous house- BM was nice enough to invite them over!

Mind you, since posting this I have had a bunch of people liking the post about how I don’t want to get notifications for people liking my post and so I get notified. Which I realise is just encouragement for everyone to like this post about preferring not to get notificaitons about liking posts.

If I click “Like” and then click “remove like” what happens?

what happens when you do that three times? Did you get three notifications?

soooo tempting to click like again

Lucky we can only click LIKE once per post!

BUT we can Quote as many times as we LIKE! Or actually more ?

The worst score from day 1 for the men was +10. Was that better than our best score at the Nats last year?

    Which course did they play?
