So far I’ve had two afternoons watching streaming videos, didn’t do much in the mornings.

Stab at Warra today, last round before shutdown.
Started with a 2-point then absolute rubbish with the exception of one 3-point. Just 10 points on the front nine. Back was a bit better with 16 points. Total 26 points. 33 putts.

    Stab at Warra today.
    No wipes, only one 3-point.
    32 points, 32 putts.

Oldies’ nine hole stab this a.m.
Playing off 20 gave me an extra shot on index-1 13th.
    Duffed a chip on 11 resulted in a 6. A 4 on the par3 18th. All other holes were 5s including a 3-putt par3.
    End result 18 points.
It was hellishly slow, but that’s quite normal for that crowd.

Do you Golf link the 9 hole comps. or play off red tees..?

    No and no.
They do their own bodgey handicapping. It’s surprising how close it matches the real thing a lot of the time.
Simple enough: less than 18 points you go out a stroke. Better than 18 and you come down by as many you were over. Easy to lose 5 strokes in one hit.
Ladies play off the reds, men off the whites.

Is that because they’re all young A Graders?

Just dopey old farts with enormous handicaps.

Stab at Warra today. After parring the first, most of the rest of the front nine was rubbish. Used too many shots to get to greens, a couple of wipes. 11 points out with 15 putts.
Back nine was a lot better: 18 points and another 15 putts.
Total 29 points (crap), 30 putts (better).

As I lose a 38 point flag today, that will take me another 0.1 to a rock hard cap which expires tomorrow, but hangs around like a bad smell for more rounds yet.

English sitcom called Ghosts. Two seasons of half hour shows. Watched them yesterday.

    Alright, but gets somewhat predictable.

Stab at Warra today. The crap continues.
    28 points 34 putts.
Next round I knock off a 38 point flag from my list.
I am 0.1 short of getting another stroke and of hitting my hard cap. My anchor point is from Feb last year, but it was still current in May 2020, so that’s when it’s dated. It expires mid next week but it will take another 3 rounds for the new anchor to come into play. It’s only another 0.1 but then it jumps up more a week later.

It’ll be nice to get a handicap I might be able to play to.

Stab at Warra today. 31 points, 33 putts.
I had a couple of 3-putts early in the round and a wipe. But otherwise, it was fair golf.

Watched season 1 of Shadow & Bone yesterday. What else is one supposed to do on a wet Sunday when there’s nothing worth watching on tv? It was ok but I’m not desperately waiting for another season.

    4BBB Par, round 2 today.
We had another +1 to match last week’s +1. When I last checked +12 was winning with others not far behind. So, we are way out from the finals.
Weather was fine for most of the time, but we did get the odd short storm. Play was called off for half an hour and many didn’t resume.

Another crap stab round at Warra today.
Five wipes, two 3-putts, but also two chip-ins, a par and a birdie.
    26 points, 31 putts.
Highlight was my ball finishing half a hand width from a HIO on the 15th.
Weather was fine, although the wind blew our golf balls off a couple of the greens.
