I’m borrowing my Dad’s clubs. Going to try and get to the driving range next week with them so I can try and make contact with the ball. 😝

Thanks for the offer Chris but just bring cake, haha!

    Thanks Chris and JB.

Any cake is a good cake.

Of course we are playing at The Sprungs. The more things change the more they stay the same.

I’ve organised a set of clubs so all I need now is a golf game.

Looking forward to catching up with everyone, been way too long.

Having a look around it’s going to be tough to find a course to host us on a Sunday without much notice.

We could play at the Par 3 Course at Terrey Hills. It’s cheap, you don’t have to book and it’s a fun little course.

We could then have lunch and drinks down the road at the Terrey Hills Tavern.

    Just an idea.

Hope this place takes off,I returned to isg and began a thread about TGM,I will see how it progresses as to which way i go with it,

    Why o why did I leave,,,,,,,,,,,,lol

Some things stay the same even though most things have changed;)

Have you visited the rules thread lately?

Of course he has. The Rules thread is now an antique book store combined with a competitive pricing assessment guide.🙄🤣
    But you already knew that.😏.

There’s a rules thread? Sounds exciting.

I was just looking at my bucket hat the other day and thinking about PJ.

    I’ll be there 100%.

If anyone has a spare set of clubs I could borrow
on the day I’ll buy them beers. 😊

    Thanks

Lang Lang $835 per year, for 7 day or $735 for 6 day member which is the best value course price wise that you will find. and 1/4 price of Cranbourne or Ranfurlie or any others you are considering,
    course playable all year round.
lots of bunkers to get into.
Fast sloping greens which are suitable for your blade putter.
    29 min from your house.
    flexible tee off times
    currently taking members.

What other types of putters would suit the greens there?

I’m wondering what type of putter it doesn’t suit?

And what type of greens don’t suit a blade?

Opened up a whole new factor ibe never thought of

Like you need another factor to think about.

I played my first round in a while which included swinging a club for the first time in a while.
Hit a wedge on the par 3 1st a touch thin and it went out of bounds long.
    Wash
Smashed 3 wood with draw that took a wicked kick left into the dam.
    1 point
Smashed driver, chipped up and three putted
    1 point
Smashed driver along the right hand side.
Couldn’t find the ball under the leaves.
    Wash.
I was two points after 4 holes.
The greens had been cored recently and weren’t as brilliant as Piney greens always are and the overall course was as sad a condition as I’ve ever remembered seeing it, it was a real shame for the team.
    Finished with 30 points.
The best thing about the day was exactly what I had hoped it would be.

Correction, I had 31 points all up. So that must have been something like 4 over in the last 14 holes.

But still, the best part was being in the cart next to the Rusty Old Man

Next game, TBA. Probably not this year, but one day soon enough.

At least it wasn’t raining like it was at Royal Pines.

How many putts did you have (not including your putts from the rough)?

Some fucking idiot keeps kicking my practice putts off the putting green into the bushes.
It wasn’t funny the first time they did it. At least they don’t cry and blame me when they hit a poorly out on the course.
I have learned over time to only control how I react because I sure as fuck cannot control how someone else chooses to behave.

So you’re still a shlt karnt!

Better than a fact hunt xx

    I could always lose weight.
