that’s just what I do and I am happy to tell anyone who will listen.

30 Pts. My best since March, still having trouble with the wrist, finish a lot of shots with one hand on the club, that can’t be good.
Played in Glorious sunshine, (the wife played in freezing temperatures at 7.30, not fun)
Hit two Crack’en six irons, on to the greens. a few good drives but my day seemed to be just playing catch up.
when I made a good shot I scored well, when I didn’t it was crap.
Any one else have trouble with an inflamed wrist ??

    Stab at Warra today.
Some good shots, some rubbish. 26 points.
Definitely ‘crisp’ this morning, slowing everything down, much nicer this arvo.

40 pts off The Blues at Gardiners Run . Lost to a 33HC who had 42. Oh the irony. 😋

Old farts’ nine hole this morning.
Although playing off 16, still only had 13 points. One wipe and three ones. The other five holes were ok.
Weather was ideal, so nothing to blame.

Backmarker last Friday at Gailes.. I’d say close to my worst game ever. Followed by a Poo round at Hills on Sunday.
Let’s hope Saturday’s 4BBB game at Royal Pines against Mads is a much better effort.

Stableford yesterday at Sandhurst (North Course) off the white tees. Playing off 11 for the day and also playing the first round of the singles (handicap) matchplay. My opposition is our best player in the club – played off scratch. So he had to give me 11 shots.

    Front 9 – 14 points
    Back 9 – 17 points

31 points so not too bad considering I missed last week with the “man flu”

    As for the matchplay –
    1st – Lost the hole
    2nd – Won
    3rd – Lost
    4th – Won
    5th – Lost
    6th – Halved
    7th – Won
    8th – Lost
    9th – Halved

So one down at the turn.

    10th – Halved
    11th – Won
    12th – Won
    13th – Halved
    14th – Halved
    15th – Won
    16th – Lost
    17th – Halved
    18th – Won

So finished 2 up and very happy to scrape through to the next round. We both played some average golf but it was great to watch a solid player and how he goes about his scoring. Felt sorry for him as it’s tough to beat someone when you have to give them that many shots. My next opponent played with us yesterday and he’s off 27 so I’ll have to give him 16 shots. :-0

Stab at Warra today: 28 points.
My handicap is capped at 3.1 over my cap point. My next four rounds will push 4 flags out. I might get another shot back, although the way I’ve been playing it won’t make any difference.

Played yesterday at The Heritage (St. Johns). Played Stableford off 11 for the day and blue markers. Had a fair bit of rain during the round. Also played the first round of our doubles matchplay.

    Front 9 – 11 points
    Back 9 – 14 points

25 and managed to avoid the NAGA

Lost the doubles 7 & 6. So not a great day. Say no more.
