37 pts at the inorg NSW OOM at Wollongong on Sunday.

Front nine 22pts included 3 pars and an “Eagle”. The par on the 9th included a lost ball in the H20, on for 4 and drilled a 20 footer…luckily the hole got in the way or the ball would still be rolling.

15pts on the way back, only 2 pars there, the wheels became loose and fell off on the 13th and 15th. For the most part it was my chipping and putting that kept me in the game.

Flagged round, dropped .6 to 16.1

Overall a good start to the new OOM NSW season.

    There’s a significant part of me that’s glad I missed it.. šŸ™‰

    Kaw kaw!

At any point are you going to describe how this stupendous feat was achieved?? In fairness though, you were the only one in the playing group to bag one..

    No need really…card says par 4. šŸ˜›

And the distance of that Par 4???

    A full iron shot in.

And just how would a phone have helped?
The decision to declare a washout and share points with the opposing team was only made 10 minutes before tee-off.
We had waited for the pro to assess whether he thought the course was playable – he went for a drive around then declared it playable. The team captains disagreed.

I forgot to mention that I had to arise @ 5:30 to be there on time. A real WOFTAM.

9 hole 4 club twilight comp tonight. Took out 3 wood, 7 iron, sand wedge and putter. Hit it solid, 4 pars, 4 bogeys and a birdie to finish with 18 points. Really pleased with how I hit the 3 wood. Blind draw after the comp, and I managed to get someone else who played well and came away with the win.

Did they abandon because you refused to play if you couldn’t use your own cart on the course??? šŸ˜‰šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

    A real WOFTAM.

Especially if the Captains had already made up their mind without even seeing the course like he did.

I’m sure they were very appreciative for him going to all that effort though….

    MM stroke @ Warra today.
    Although I had five pars, I also had a 6, a 7 and two 8s. Five 1-putts and no 3-putts didn’t help either.
    Nett 78.

Have I mentioned that I like stroke about as much as I like playing in the rain? No, it didn’t rain today.

Quarterly medal. 76 nett 68. Runner up in A grade on a countback to a young kid I played with yesterday. He was even with card after 10 but faded to finish 8 over. Not normally happy to lose on a countback, but he’s a cracking kid, and had his best ever score. Conditions were pretty tough, blowing 20-30kph.

Highlight was holing out on the 18th with my second shot from 160 straight into the wind. KawKawKawKaw

Played at Keperra today and had 16 and 14 for 30 points

Some good play but one of those when I didn’t turn opportunities into points

Now that is how you’re meant to get an eagle on a Par 4.

    Stab at Warra today.
One wipe, four 1-putts, no 3-putts.
19 out, 17 back for 36 points. Might get a ball DTL.
It’s bound to cost me a few more points off my ‘cap which is supposed to be going back out. Dammit !
