UpninParticipant34 points (5×1) just scraped into the rundown.
35 points at Royal Queensland off 12
Stooped for lightning mid round but overall not terrible
32 (2W 2×1) 35 putts not good.
Great day in the park with Weetie and Bump made up for some so-so scoring.
A fortuitous lightning break coincided with some heavy rain, so we pretty well had decent weather albeit being incredibly humid and very wet underfoot. Good company makes up for the foibles of the weather anyway.
Weetie played pretty well with the exception of some short game glitches. Bump came home well the second nine, and it’s obvious that with more reps he would be playing off 3 or 4……but he got flogged in the ‘match’:)
The match wasn’t very even – even with a good back nine by Bump
But the company was excellent as usual – really appreciate the invite again Upnin
Now if I can just get that shot game going
To hell with the shot game – get your short game into order!:)

FrancieKeymasterStableford at St. Andrews Beach yesterday. Shotgun start from 4 different tees. Playing off the 18th and 13 hcp for the day.
Front 9 – 17
Back 9 – 1835 points with 3 wipes
It could have been a lot better but unfortunately not too many GIR. I did scramble very well and save a lot of pars by getting up and down Putting was very good for a change. Heidleberg next week.

I think I can see what your problem is – you never seem to play the same course twice. A little familiarity might kick along the scores and reduce the cap……just a thought:)

UpninParticipant4BBB Stroke in the Charles Earp Jug (an absolutely champion bloke) and our net 70 was just a touch away from the three way countback of the 61s…….
I played real, real bad which had nothing to do with the constant drizzly rain and extremely wet conditions underfoot. The full swing yips came back big time along with a dose of very poor putting.
Still, it was a day away from work.

Wow – your driving on the second nine on Sunday looked like it was on the road to recovery – can’t believe it has reverted so quickly

OldBogeyParticipantVentured over to Garfield for today’s stab round.
Just couldn’t get my act together today. I had some good drives but too many stuff ups. While I had a number of 1-putts (didn’t actually count them), and no 3-putts, I lost too many shots between the drives and greens. Three wipes: one was just rubbish, a sliced drive OOB and a drive into the creek.
25 points.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.
No championships worth mentioning in recent years.
