Hope the break sorts it out
WeetbixParticipantI dunno
Part or golf is sharing your disappointment and confusion about why your ball goes 90 degrees sideways into the trees and finishes behind a huge root while theirs bounces off the tree and into the middle of the fairwayIf you can luxuriate in your misery and cry angry tears to the Golf Gods you’re missing out on half the fun
Don’t tell me, you have Italian heritage, don’t you Weetbix.

WeetbixParticipantI can only assume he has the best possible medical advice. Might be they say once it’s done he will be recovering for a long time. Could be like so often with spinal problems that they can’t do much without a big risk of it going wrong and ending up worse.
I hope he finds a way to manage it and get back to his best form. It’s fun watching him putt when he’s on.

Here are the 10 rules of scoring according to Will Robins.
he found with his scoring method system that Double bogeys come from breaking one of these rules.1. missed short putts under 1.5m
2.penalty strokes
3.not getting out of trouble and safely back in play
4 having 3 putts
5 Under clubbing
6.Playing risky shots, ie a shot you are not capable of playing
7 short siding on approach
8 holding on to bad shots
9 misreading the lie of the shot
10 starting poorlyHe sounds like a very insightful fella, I doubt majority on here would have thought of many of those causes.
To be fair I hadn’t thought of those as being a single thing that led to double bogies – generally I assumed it took a couple of them
And I’m uncertain what starting poorly means – but it’s a nice catch all
I’d suggest adding finishing poorly though to complete the set
WeetbixParticipantIf you do that I’m gunna have to go buy some more red lipstick
To be fair I haven’t had to buy it before
