More frustrating rubbish today for 30 points at Robina Woods from a shotgun start off 15, playing off 12

    Started double birdie par bogey
The the front nine was 7 bogeys followed by 2 doubles
Finished with a wipe to put the cream on the cake

My short game is improving in the sense of not hitting any mishits but my touch isn’t good enough and I didn’t make any putts of note today – just a couple of 4-6 ft 2nd putts

30 points with 2 birdies is crap

Tee wasn’t too bad although a bit of luck saved a 3h

Dropped 9 shots from poor iron and wedge shots – very very bad

8 over on the short game with only 2 up and downs despite plenty of fairly straightforward chipa

You went out there and try your best. Seriously, I would be absolutely super happy if I get 30. Wow, you are very lucky, you golf different course every week. You must know a lot of movers and shakers golfers.

And please accept our apologies Della, we’ll pipe down and allow you to keep your thread all about you and your game
    😀

    How about the 8th?

Many thanks for your patience Della. I’m flattered by your depiction of me as a single figure golfer

Hack – I didn’t mention the clothes thing – some things are too personal for a brief introductory Bio

Bumpunrum, Weetix only said the good things. I have a lot of skeletons, so whatever you have is nothing compare to mine.

I find I score much better if I do not add up my score as I go around. Just write down the result and any tracking your doing at the end of each hole and then move on. Add it up when finished whole 18.

Everytime I score better and then start to think score I lose shots by stupid errors.

It’s the focus on score, outcome, that stuffs me up the most. Maybe try playing thinking only about the shot at hand and not think score. If you catch yourself thinking score, or future shot, last shot error, then stop for a minute and refocus on the shot at hand.

My PB is an 86 OTS, 14 over which was 8 over after 5 holes, -2 for back 8, but double bogey on 18. I started thinking score waiting on the 18th tee!

Thank you Hack. I will try your method the next few weeks.
Tempting to add the score though….

Perhaps that’s the key. Understanding why you need to add up or know how you’re scoring…

Have you read “The Golfers Mind” or ‘Golf is not a game of perfect” by Dr Bob Rotella?

I will check on Kindle. Thank you Hack.

Hi Wozz, wow golfing 40+ years, before I was born. Your hcp is currently the lowest, sound like a fine red wine aging: Elegant and Flamboyant. Well done Wozz!

Appreciate the help in making me feel better

Why did you take a selfie on your side?

I was exploring new perspectives on life love and gumboots

Tell me more about the gum boots and are you using them during sex.

    Doesn’t everyone?

    Must be a QLD thing

I only emigrated here when I was 26

Hope all readers are over 18.

    Never give up
Even if I you’re having a shocker coming home par par can change your feeling as you walk off
Every hole is a new adventure

And never forget we do this for fun so have a chuckle at yourself

Why did you do your selfie on the side?

We should have a game soon, I’m keen to see what all this fuss about playing with Weets is about.
Everyone raves about playing with Weets so I want to be in the cool gang too

    ADHD

We will have to organise it somehow …

    How’s your December looking?
Let’s do it, somewhere nice, but close to me
Early, but still at a reasonable time

Do you send out the invitation or do I knock on the door when I am in Gold coast? 🙂

All good. Plenty of free time. Just work and golf now. Pretty boring life. I did asked Weetix for your bio, just in case I might step on your toes. So both of you are single digit hcp., How exciting and really great Bumpunrun.

This week I had try to play 6 rounds like Weetix but after 3 days my body told me to bugger off. Monday Rosebud 21, Tuesday Sorrento 32 and Wednesday Huntingdale -4 par. Very small improvement GA 14.8. I still have a major crisis mental block, if my front 9 doesnt add to 12, I tend to panic and hit more ding dong shoots. I want to learn how to improve the mindset when I am there again. I had listened to varies podcasts and read few of iseekgolf threads to learn from Weetix, Talart, Frankie, Toch, Goldy, IM…..I admire them and enjoy reading about it. Kinda of comfort food for golf. If you have any tips to improve mental part, please share.

The last two days, had been practiced short games around the green. This Saturday at YY, Sunday Kooringal, Monday Riversdale ladies charity (we have 4 groups of golf buddies, best way to catch up with friends), and Wednesday Victoria invitation Ambrose.

My GA 14.9. Hopefully will get back to 10.9 by June 2020. I enjoy golf before wine, foods, shoes and handbags now. Grateful and thank you for those people put up with me on/off the course. Wonderful friendship….this is life all about.

How many pairs of shoes do you have Imeldo?

I am very naughty. Just 4 times average lady. All under control since I have golf to focus.
