Dellavedova777ParticipantCEO 4 days from me, from the 3rd Saturday the Vintage till Tuesday Terrey Hills CC. Looking forward to golf at T.H . Please PM bank account, thank you. Feeling super excited to catch up. The only thing stopping this Working class girl who like Jimmy Barnes is C-19. 🙂

Thanks will you need accommodation for Saturday night? We are booking shared apartments, and need to pair up with people staying the same amount of nights.
The Sydney accom is another thread!
All good CEO. All sorted. Thank you.

Dellavedova777ParticipantThank you for your encouragements. Every now and then I need a good kick to remind myself to be grateful. Thankful I have beautiful and great friends like you. Love this big family, everyone is special. Hopefully Nats 2021.
I’ve gone and bought an MGI Navigator and just want to get out on the course to “test my skill” in keeping it out of the dams at Southern. 🤣
Take it for a walk with you and learn to use not to get into water partner. :-). Great for summer or hilly course.

Dellavedova777ParticipantPlayed Pacific with 11 other intrepid Queenslanders today in fine conditions. Course was a bit rough – preferred lie which I used quite a bit although most lies weren’t terrible just a bit scratchy. Greens were sandy and still recovering from coring – but it’s that time of year and I think they took advantage of when they were members only for covid to get it done so no complaints.
Was a strange day because I didn’t play terribly well but also not terribly badly either and with some good putting could have had a very good score. But positively I had nothing worse than a bogey all day (no birdies though), and finished with the same ball I started with.
6 pars 12 bogies off 11 for a
43 16 back
41 19 front
84 35 result9/14 fairways – better than it felt but only 1 dropped shot from a topped 3h on 10 our first hole. Couple of other less than stellar tee shots but overall they were pretty decent.
7 GIR + 3 texas – again better than it felt and many very long putts were left for me to mess up. Dropped 1 shot from a pushed 6 iron on 1 after a cracking 260m 3h off the tee (big sloped help on that shot). Wasn’t hitting my distances very well and got away with a couple of thin wedge shots into greens. Overall not terrible but so much margin for improvement still.
2/11 up and downs – not great but:
- {content}
0/4 bunker shots but the shots were solid, apart from 1 that came out much softer than I expected but it did come out
0/1 LW pitch over a bunker that I struck very well to about 8ft so happy with that
0/1 PW chip but after a big pushed 6i left me a long way from the flag and it was a good aggressive chip, just a touch too aggressive
2/4 Texas – which along with 36 putts shows much of the problem today was the flat stick- {content}
36 putts + 4 texas – not good and didn’t drop a long putt at all, although saved a few pars after weak first long putts
Will flag and may squeeze me under 10 – was in Pacific’s comp so won’t know until a lot later
Well done Weeti! Reckon your next 6 rounds can go lower 8. Are all lad in your group?

Dellavedova777Participant2 days after I posted that vid. I lost my interest in golf and practice putting. I had literally put 2 my golf bags away, even my kids cant believe it. I cannot seen to have a burning passion and hungry to lower hcp. Other factors instability job, finance and now have to work longer for retirement.
I hope I will find my mojo back one day but I wont miss golf at all. For now my moto, “Just learn to live with Covid”. Cant be lock-down like this or future lock-down 3.0 or lockdown 4.0…..too painful for my mentality and sanity.

Dellavedova777ParticipantAnother great day out with the L4G crew for PJ’s birthday. Nice and cool and just a little wind. Perfect conditions really. Thanks to my playing partners wolfy and commish. Thanks for organizing barnesy and congratulations on the new job.
Straining my hammy was probably a good thing, haven’t hit that many fairways in yonks and the wedge and putter behaved as well. Pigs may fly yet/ Will definitely be going back to the coast, decent layout and the kikuyu grass definitely does well for my chipping as pepps the cake eater observed.As always, great to see you Chris and looking forward to all the photos.
Solid rounds from everyone, especially from pepps and barnesy to turn around a great front 9. Also don’t know who hit up on me on the 7th past the drain, but glad were keeping the tradition alive :D. thanks for the beers BK and Wolfy
Looking forward to twilight at elanora with you lot.
Well done everyone attended for JP. Well done the Snokelguru. No photo?
