    Hi all,

Considering putting the WBT into retirement and adopting similar scoring to the Vics and their OOM or the Qlders Gravy Cup, with the COC Jacket presented to the overall winner at the final event.

Fire away with your suggestions…and remember if you can do it better, the Captaincy is all yours.

I’d love to see somehow all states have an end of year winner- each that then play off for a title at Nats?

Not sure how it can work with Nats in Oct but if PGA tour has a wrap around year why can’t we;)

Why not end the year at Nationals?

Any OOM games played post Nationals become starting games for the next year OOM

So, run OOM’s Nov – Sept. Nationals October.

That way current year OOM leaders / winners can have play off at the Nationals.

    Great suggestion
    Madam
why not have the Nationals in late November as the final event .(then it can be a bit of a christmas party as well.)
each state can having its own program as the “race to the Murray” competition through out the year..
each state will have a winner or top of the of its OOM and these players play off for national OOM.
to get to Nationals players have play there way there through state OOM’s, thus avoiding any ring ins winning the event.

    In for this event please.

    PS Madam,
    suggestions for dinner
why not just do dinner at a local pub i/ bistro n area close to the accommodation.

that is a back up plan but Commish correct on needing putting Comp green. So maybe bowls club

easy solution just do putting comp after completion of saturday round while everyone is still at course, and before they put their putters and gear away for day.
or have putting comp before start of r3 on sunday.

Other option is to have dinner after R3 on Sunday night as a finale to the event.

Harrigans Irish Pub in Pokolbin has been recommended as a good night out.

    So options thus far:
Howlong, Black Bull, Yarrawonga/Mulwala Thu-Sun Yarrawonga has an Executive Course as well so will look at options to include a fun event in middle maybe?

    or Canberra Yowani and ??

    Long list of options..
Royal Canberra, Federal, Gold Creek, Queanbeyan, Yowani, Mt Broughton on way for those coming south.
Plenty of options for food drink & accommodation.

Still I’m in for Murray too

Keep cost down for this event. keep the event to 4 days.(mon & Tuesday are not needed)
for main event look at the following 4 course which have all the requirements we need.

Rich river -Echuca – very affordable accommodation on course, and good cheap meals in club house, could do dinner at venue 36 holes on site = 2 courses with access both days, big putting green for putting comp.good practice facilities.

Yarrawonga – affordable accommodation on course, meals in club house could do dinner at venue, 2 course.54 holes good practice facilities

Tocumwal- affordable accommodation close to course, meals in club house, could do dinner at venue, good practice facilities 36 holes.

Corowa: 27 holes- so could play a 54 hole tournament affordable accomodation on site meals in club house, could do dinner at venue, good practice facilities.

Thursday /friday event play at one of either these
    Howlong
    Thurgoona
    Albury.
    shepparton
    cobram barooga
    closest airport is Albury.
