Mads, we’re in carts next weekend aren’t we?
I am just deciding what to wear and to make the point that we will be in carts and that I am going to win the crown

    Good luck with that Bumpy.

Thanks Obe, I need all the luck I can muster to decide what I wear sometimes

    Silly questions with Bump time.
Is there only one spot in the whole area that you can warm up?

    to play more?

The use of the word “more” is a touch superfluous there.
    My goal is to play.

I’ve already organised that I will play with Placegetter, date and venue TBA, but we’ve said we will and that we’ll do a range session before that too.

and just like that, when I say I will… I do.

my game with Placegetter has been confirmed down at his home course for the 18th so I am back on track for meeting my year end goals.

I did get an invite to play with some fellas from work on Friday 17th, but because I like Place a whole lot more than anyone, especially dudes from work I chose the game with him.
I might even try a write up in the Played thread, that will be exciting

I don’t have a long list of excuses.
I just didn’t play enough to reach my goals.

The good news is that I should be able to meet my whole year goals by the end of the year

Ah… but when you pull it off!

I’m not sure the crude language is needed here, we’re just trying to help a brother out with his golf

That’s always the risk of trying to hit a draw around a dog leg, it turns over too much too soon and you’re dead.
At least by taking it away from the corner, you open yourself up to a greater chance of a line in.

so, where is the best spot to be??
    hole

There are about 3-5 holes that favour draw shape on out tree line course. Plus I want to be able to develop the skill. I can do it with my FW woods, but the Driver eludes me.

These are two very distinctly different reasons, but both equally valid.
I am just trying to get a better feel for the holes, when you say “favour” does that mean that there is a short dog leg that you need to be around the corner for a shot at the green? as in, the trees on the left hand side completely block the green if you’re still on the right hand side of the fairway or is it that it’s a better angle coming into a tricky green being on the left?

Do you give any consideration to where you tee it up within the tee block on these holes, this does come with it’s own risks when the shot does go straight after you’ve aimed along the left hand edge…but still

and yep, everyone wants to hit drawing bombs with driver

I’d suggest the plastic 43mm yellow step tees, they’re the good height for driver and woods.
