Almost.
Played 18 yesterday. Oh my aches and pains.
50/43 so good times. Hit the ball too well and ended up over the back of the green which is about the only miss at Gardiners that can hurt you.Hi Ink. What are you wearing?

November 6, 2021 at 8:35 am #17811iRON MiCKParticipantFirst two games back after copping 2 weeks isolation because The iRON MAiDEN got CoVID and 30 points last Sunday and a 38 point effort yesterday.
Played off the White tees with a daily HCP of 17.
2 birds on 17 and 5 were highlights.Need to practice. Driving was solid and didn’t hit a decent shot from 120-130m out which was frustrating.
39 won the day so overall a koioim effort. Anyone who has played at Gardiners would be surprised to see how the Super is setting up the greens and the pins now and the Stableford scores rarely get over 40.
Course is as you would expect this time of year just about mintNAGA
November 9, 2021 at 8:43 pm #17825FrancieKeymasterWe are playing the first round of our clubbies there in a couple of weeks. It will be interesting.
Has the course got rakes in the bunkers and not playing “Covid rules”?

November 12, 2021 at 5:32 pm #17835iRON MiCKParticipantPlayed today. Started on 10 and 16 points. Missing a few putts as the weather got beyond my capabilities.
10 on the back for 26 points.
HCP has moved back out to 19.1. Still playing off 17 from the white tees so no change to my daily HCP.NAGA

December 18, 2021 at 11:58 am #17923iRON MiCKParticipantSo a month later, some very ordinary stroke rounds followed by a reasonable stableford score of 35pts had my GA blow out to 19. Thought that would be as high as it went, but no.
Gardiners Run decided mid COVID break it needed to be re rated and while the slope rating didn’t change much, the “Scratch Rating” came down two shots of the whites and three of the blues. Sort of makes it ridiculous to play off the blue tees now (you get one shot extra) while off the whites, you lose 4 off your GA.
Most will say its an easy course, and set up to score well on which is true. My daily handicap was 15 with a GA of 19 last game
Had a shocker, and a played to 12 flag dropped off, so my GA is now 20.4 and my daily next week will be 17. Sort of where I want to be, trying to break 90.NAGA

April 3, 2022 at 9:33 am #18273iRON MiCKParticipantChopped it up again yesterday for 32pts off the Blues.
A quick update of the journey of me. The family and I have moved out to the rolling plains of Gippsland and set up home on a sprawling acreage in Tynong North.
Start a new role out in May and probably change the home of The iRON Naga to Lang Lang. Might head down there for a hit after Easter.
Life is good and the move took all of March which led to me completely forgetting about playing up on The Murray.
Hope that the L4G crew are doing ok and no one has done a Warnie. Much love MiCK???????

Certainly nothing wrong with Langy if you don’t mind a bit of a drive.
Garfield would be your closest, but for a better course, try Drouin or Warragul.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.
No championships worth mentioning in recent years.
