OldBogeyParticipantPhew!
That metro lockdown came bloody close. Cardinia included in the metro list, but no active cases.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

ParticipantMy new phone arrived today and I’ve spent the arvo setting it up.
God I had a lot of apps !!!!!
The Aussie COVIDsafe app won’t install: not compatible with Android 10.We have 2 new Android phones and they are both compatible. turn off Wifi and try again. there are a couple of tricky little things that can interfere. I was getting the same thing when using WiFi. as soon as I turned it off I got through.

I reported the problem and, after a few weeks, they acknowledged it as a ‘known problem’.
I tried again a few weeks later, after they’d updated the app, and it installed ok. But it crashed the phone – complete lockup. After a few of those, I uninstalled it and no more crashes. As for wifi, no problem. Mine’s android, not iphone.

OldBogeyParticipantWith our lockdown brethren needing to be masked all the time in public from tomorrow, I thought I’d try out the one I purchased a few months ago, while I was supermarket shopping today.
What a nuisance that was!!!! My glasses kept fogging up and I couldn’t see what I was doing. I even bought cab merlot instead of shiraz!
I’m glad I don’t have to do that all the time. Yet.People say that nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

I’m glad I don’t have to do that all the time. Yet.Put the mask on first and then place the glasses over the mask. 80% less fog up rate.

OldBogeyParticipantIt’s a good thing you know the way home from the bottle-o without needing to see.
I have an intelligent car that always knows the way home. I had one decades ago that once tried to take me to a former home some years after I’d moved.

OldBogeyParticipantWearing a burglar mask out here in the bush is unnecessary, but I like some protection during supermarket raids, so I’ll continue to experiment.
