Well the serious golf didn’t happen and out a shot to 16.6. Me fears there is more to come.

Event WGT?
Thanks everyone that attended our inawgarool Virtual Hump night last night., We had about 15 at one point. Some funny shit as expected with all you crazies online at the same time.
It’s an interesting medium and one I’m trying to get skilled up on for work and new initiatives I’m working on.
Love to get feedback on the concept, how to better organise a group of that size or bigger etc. Its not for everyone but could be a good outlet for some that just needs a break from all the crap on at the moment. Even if you just sit back on listen in.
Normally there would be a more structured learning agenda, with only select speakers and a Q/Q etc. This is much tougher as too many trying to talk at same time.
As always I hope you are as well as can be and life looks to be starting to get back toward some normality again in the coming months. At this point, Nationals is still going ahead but a final decision will be in July once we know what the golfing and social aspect of things will look like. Hopefully flights aren’t too expensive at that time.

Well that was certainly interesting. At least it was after the Big Black Pussy rang me and walked me through getting audio and visual up and running. Who knows, I might get the hang of this social media stuff. Nahh..

Essentially there used to be about 3 ranges with good short game areas plus grass tees plus real balls. Now I don’t think there’s a single one with all that. In fact not a single one with Just real balls even.
lakelands has a good set up. Not sure if they allow public to practice there?

Dear Readers, has taken some time to get in here and begin the latest record of my golfing exploits.During March doing limited practise keeping the game tuned up. Which worked on the last weekend of golf possible prior the lock down. That Sunday was first qualifying for club championship. Was in reigning club champion’s group and finished the day with one stroke more than him. Have not seen final tally for the day will say I am either 2nd or 4th best qualifier in A grade.
Not a bad round an out of bounds, ball in lateral water hazard and one missed putt for par added 3 shots too many, to my score 80 off the stick. Good enough to guarantee a finals slot in the match play when that comes about later in 2020.
Since the lock down our course has been closed to all but members and playing in groups of 2 max and one per cart. The members were the busiest I had seen on the course for years in the height of lock down. Golfing was a place to get outdoors and even socialise across the fairways. It is usually myself being the greatest practice junkie at the club during a week yet for once the other members were out. Which will deliver some very good scores in the return to competition among several I am sure.
