InkParticipantCan we please stay on topic regarding the potato wedges.
InkParticipantPositive thoughts people. Come October, when you check in at the airport, if your temperature is within the prescribed range and you have no other symptoms, them you hop on a plane and head to NSW. If not, STAY THE FUCK AT HOME.
Or, you could opt to drive, just leave 2 weeks earlier than expected and keep to yourself on the way up.
I don’t know the suburbs where the hot spots in Vic are at the moment, so I can’t really comment on what may be causing the spike. But I will hazard a guess and presume they are total dumb fucks.
The best part is… I know that those of you in Vic who desire to attend the Nats are doing the right thing anyway because that is the type of people you are. It will happen and you will be there.
Let’s just call those suburbs ‘migrant’ suburbs. You should’ve seen the arrogant, young dumb fuck being interviewed on tv. There was no way he was going to keep his distance from others, wear a mask or even stay away from granny. If he catches the virus, he’ll survive because he’s young and tough. If he passes it to granny and she dies, bad luck.
Why do you have to call it migrant surburbs?

InkParticipanthow jacked are his lofts if he needs a 47 wedge and a PW?
His driver is 5.5
ha…so on an avg 4 degrees jacked. Prob trying to make up for the lack of shaft length 😛
Driver: 325 yards7-iron: 205 yards – driver
3-wood: 295 yards
4-hybrid: 275 yards
4-iron: 255 yards
5-iron: 235 yards
6-iron: 220 yards
8-iron: 190 yards – 3W
9-iron: 175 yards – 5W
Pitching wedge: 160 yards – 4H
47 degree wedge: 145 yards – 5H
53 degree wedge: 127 yards – 7i…clearly we have a club gap issue
58 degree wedge: 110 yards – 9i…same issueFFS!
I’m glad you did those distances… saved me posting mine. I just say… Ditto
how jacked are his lofts if he needs a 47 wedge and a PW?
I was of the belief that a PW was around 47/48 degs. His PW must be at about 44 which is basically a 9i. If that be the case then it would suggest his 4i is lofted somewhere between a 2&3i.
thought std PW were 46 so prob not far off your estimate. Pity even so, 2i does (his 4i) doesnt go 255 yards….what a beast

InkParticipantHow many of the following are you guilty of??
At some point during a round… all of them. Some of them, multiple times.
I’ve got priors, present and futures.

InkParticipantThere are about 3-5 holes that favour draw shape on out tree line course. Plus I want to be able to develop the skill. I can do it with my FW woods, but the Driver eludes me.
These are two very distinctly different reasons, but both equally valid.
I am just trying to get a better feel for the holes, when you say “favour” does that mean that there is a short dog leg that you need to be around the corner for a shot at the green? as in, the trees on the left hand side completely block the green if you’re still on the right hand side of the fairway or is it that it’s a better angle coming into a tricky green being on the left?Do you give any consideration to where you tee it up within the tee block on these holes, this does come with it’s own risks when the shot does go straight after you’ve aimed along the left hand edge…but still
and yep, everyone wants to hit drawing bombs with driver
That thought process is for people who actually know what they are doing and are capable of carrying it off. Us flogs, well we just continue to get ambition and ability mixed up.
Ah… but when you pull it off!
You’d need to talk to Ink about that..
I can help, I know a guy.

InkParticipantSo you hit a hook.
Fark me Commish…it’s like you’re reading my mind.

Madam.
InkParticipantI’d suggest the plastic 43mm yellow step tees, they’re the good height for driver and woods.
I could only find the 1.7 inch ones
