By the time you realise this part of my signature doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.
Success is the ability to go from one failure to the next without any loss of enthusiasm.
Good judgment comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.
Meditation makes doing nothing quite respectable.
Hack2489ParticipantCan’t you just take the scores of the L4G players out of the BF games and score them into an OOM format??
That’s what I was hinting at … Two prizes for one effort / outing.
Oh.
And, isn’t it good having this discussion in this thread in this area of the forum.

Hack2489ParticipantHi all,
Considering putting the WBT into retirement and adopting similar scoring to the Vics and their OOM or the Qlders Gravy Cup, with the COC Jacket presented to the overall winner at the final event.
Fire away with your suggestions…and remember if you can do it better, the Captaincy is all yours.
I’d love to see somehow all states have an end of year winner- each that then play off for a title at Nats?
Not sure how it can work with Nats in Oct but if PGA tour has a wrap around year why can’t we;)
Why not end the year at Nationals?
Any OOM games played post Nationals become starting games for the next year OOM
So, run OOM’s Nov – Sept. Nationals October.
That way current year OOM leaders / winners can have play off at the Nationals.
I’m all for that if states want to. May not be a SEQ group next year though
Why no SEQ group?
I think most play in Brisbane Fairways group already?
So, they could win 2 prizes for the same effort.
Or
SEQ group can play an afternoon tee slot.

Hack2489ParticipantSecond round and last round at Natadola Bay on brief holiday. Playing off the whites had 81 off the stick
Fiji time must agree with meWere you over there for schoolies? One of our neighbours and her yr 12 friends went over there instead of dealing with the dickhead factor on the Gold Coast.

Hack2489ParticipantSince I can not edit my original list and Bump’s gone all OCD and listed everything, I’ll re-group and try again. You can also use this to play spotto for any changes to the lineup that’s been in place since April 2017.
Driver: Cobra King F7 with a Fujikura XLR8 Pro 61 (66 gram) stiff flex shaft.
Fairway Wood: Cobra F7 3/4 Fairway wood with a Fujikura Pro 65 (70 gram) stiff flex shaft.
Irons: Titleist 718 AP2 4-PW (Dynamic Gold S300 AMT Tour White)
Wedges: Titleist Vokey SM6 (Dynamic Gold S300)
52 deg F Grind (8 degree bounce)
56 deg M Grind (8 degree bounce)
60 deg M Grind (8 degree bounce)Putter: Bettinardi queen Bee #8
Golf Bag: Titleist Lightweight Stand Bag which is Navy, White and Lime.
Buggy: AXGLO Tri Lite
Umbrella: Who plays in the rain? Or when it’s too hot? Umbrella, pfft.
Clothing: Long Black Pants with Solid Block Colour Shirt
Shoes: ECCO Biom Hybrid 3
Wet Weather Gear: Who is so stupid as to play golf in the rain?
Glove: FJ Weathersoft
Golf Ball: 2017 Pro V1 or V1x
Sunscreen: Nope, never wear it.
Anything Else?: Yes, I have sharpies in my bag I use to mark my golf balls. There’s the fluorescent pink one that marks a big-arse X on all my practice balls, the fluorescent blue one for when I wear a blue shirt or feel like matching my eye colour, and the fluorescent green one for when I wear a green shirt. I need to re-stock a red one for red shirt days, and a purple one for purple shirt days. I don’t need a yellow one because I do not have a yellow shirt. I mark my golf balls with a single dot inside a dimple near the Titleist logo.
Other: I have collection of ‘keno’ pencils for writing on scorecards and a not insignificant collection of blank scorecards. I also have a TaylorMade 580XD Driver, a Titlesit 905R Driver and a Nike Blue Insert putter all collecting dust and cockroach poo in my garage.

Hack2489ParticipantSomething that probably deserves to survive from the old home. Nothing like setting goals to achieve whether they be in golf or life in general.
Feel free to adjust you current standings if applicable or add your name and handicap goal if you want to join in the shenanigans.

Commish.
Only way for me to lower is to actually play comp golf! Aint happening before end of year at this point.
Funny, I thought maybe I could smash in a few rounds and try and get there.
Won’t happen. Blue Marker is tomorrow and the greens are very ordinary post renovations. I can see a LOT of 3 putts out there, and that won’t help the goal achievement.
Then there’s all the client Xmas parties and other social functions at this time of year.
And getting use to some new equipment.
Might just have to settle for having not gone backwards.
