BumpunRunParticipantI have an intelligent car that always knows the way home. I had one decades ago that once tried to take me to a former home some years after I’d moved
Enjoy a glass of that Merlo for me too.
BumpunRunParticipantso relying on trying to over-hit a less club to get distance, interesting play

BumpunRunParticipantAnd playing poorly in the middle part too.
And misreading the lie of the shot, as in how the ball is sitting on the ground? Like, I was sure it was on grass and not this concrete cart path before i hit and I should have let go of the club after that bad shot?
Or does he mean the read of the putt?

BumpunRunParticipantGood times
BumpunRunParticipantI’m sure it was closer to 60.
That’s a perpetual favourite, so it wasn’t something as special
BumpunRunParticipantCalling a shot and then making it. I know for a fact I’ve done that at least once in total in my entire golfing career.
Can you remember what my other favourite part of the day was?
BumpunRunParticipantOf my two highlights of the day, one was you calling your first birdie.
The shot you had to sling around onto the green after telling me how close you were going to put it was an absolute standout, then to follow it up by draining that putt inspired me.
BumpunRunParticipantOnly because it’s so much easier to forget the bad and remember the good.
Here is the stretch of 14, 15 and 16.
After two reasonably simple bogeys on 11 and 12, I went driver to be a 70 lob wedge out. I was talking it up how this was going to be my shot of the day. It was pointed out that it needed to be better than a chip in from earlier so I had on option – to hole it out.
I missed the mark by about 3m left, pin high.
The next hole, my aiming point was left hand tail light of a van that was parked in their driveway over the road. I hit it about 15m right of that target line so it ended up where it did.
Then the par 3, 16th I was torn between hitting a knock down 9 or smashing a wedge, naturally after the two prior birdies I took the safe option to carry the water and smashed wedge. It landed on the back fringe after carrying abut 130 and popped back on. This was the longest and most difficult of the three putts, I had to start it left up a swale then it knew it should feed back down to the left as it got to the hole.I did then proceed to stuff up the last two holes, in part because I stuffed them up but I was getting messages about how much longer I was going to be to make sure I was home to do the promised things with the girls.

BumpunRunParticipantSome of the greatest ball striking I’ve been privileged enough to be the chauffeur for. Loved the day. Will always remember the surprise on your face when the birdie putt from off the green dropped for three in a row. Will say it again, that is serious golf in any language, nothing to be denied there. There was one hole you let me hit it 50m past you off the tee, otherwise your driving was impeccable.
Just a quick point of order, the pitch mark was off the green but my ball finished on….
Just in case that ntp did hold up
Haha
BumpunRunParticipantFirst hit since February.
I had 77 at Sanctuary Cove with my favourite person who nailed two birdies in a row as part of his run of a thousand points in a few holes.
It was a perfect day4 users liked this post.
BumpunRunParticipantI am more intrigued than anything.
is this an on-course tracker or some mechanical contraption net based doodad?
either way, I am happy to supply my credit card details.
or are you open to trades?
I have 4 tickets to the Nickelback concert that should be worth two of these here trackers.when will we know to that the continuation can cease?
BumpunRunParticipantYeah, no doubts those blokes were absolute muppets
