    So…since we’ve been back from lockdown, up until Sunday I had played 14 rounds, averaged about 30 points per round. Which blew the handicap out from a poor 17.1, to a shitful 18.3. But other than the odd hole(s) per round, the last few weeks have felt like it was getting better, just not showing in the score. Clubbies and stroke rounds at Yering are never much fun on a poor day, and we’ve just had 3 weeks of them, plus MM on Saturday. The last 5 rounds were the equivalent of 33 33 33 30 30.

    Sunday…well, it blew it’s arse off, we had on and off rain…and I shot 38 points, and had my first comp win in the 2 years I’ve been at YM. Handicap back momentarily to 17.7…still at least a couple of shots higher than I’d hope for, but clearly required.
